Pfc. Donald W. Saager, son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Saager of 808 N. Grant St., Crown Point, is among others who have been issued these additional items for the winter months:
Quilted mountain sleeping bag, pile jacket, parka, pile field cap, woolen undergarments, sweater, gloves, mittens and special below-zero shoe-pacs.
His division, the 7th Infantry, is beginning its third winter in Korea.
Saager, who entered the Army in October 1951, is serving as a wireman in the 32nd Infantry Regiment's Company A.
Since his arrival in Korea last May, he has been awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge, and the Korea Service Ribbon with one campaign star.
