BRIDAL SHOWERS HONOR MISS GEORGENE SCHUTZ

On Saturday evening, Miss Catherine Berg entertained at a prenuptial shower for Miss Georgene Schutz at the home of Mrs. A.W. Cunningham.

Miss Schutz will become the bride of Richard Schmal in a ceremony at St. Edwards's church.

The dining room table was decorated with a large yellow and white umbrella and heaped with gifts. Delicious refreshments were served at tables decorated with white carnations and yellow daffodils. Favors were miniature rolling pins.

During the evening games were played, prizes going to Arline Vandermark, Cecelia Mirro, Miriam Larson and Maurine Keithley, which they graciously presented to the honor guest.

Miss Schutz received many lovely gifts and a corsage of sweet peas from the hostess.

On next Monday evening Miss Charlotte Schreiber will be hostess for a linen shower honoring Miss Schutz.

Another pleasant surprise for her took place when she was presented with a beautiful gift from the members of her card club at their last meeting.
