Airman Lawrence F. Shipley III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence F. Shipley, Jr., of 614 W. 66th Place, Crown Point, Ind., has completed basic training at Amarillo AFB, Tex. He is now assigned as a property accountant with a unit of the Tactical Air Command at Lockbourne AFB, Ohio.
Airman Shipley, a 1964 graduate of Merrillville High School, attended Ball State University, Muncie, Ind.
His wife is the former Karen Rudman of Crown Point.
