The seven men who were inducted into the armed services on December 7, through the local Selective Service board 43, included Gordon W. Gumbiner, Ray E. Seberger, Jr., Robert F. Voyak, Norbert F. Shroka, James F. Fox and Glen N. Babcock. Daniel P. Ford was assigned to serve with the Marine corps
