In the year 1875 they moved to Lowell, Indiana, where she has resided ever since. In 1885 she was called to part with her husband by death.
She died November 8, 1897, age 76 years, 9 months and 1 day. She had been a great sufferer for some months, but with all her pain she was never known to murmur. She was baptized in infancy, and although she made no public profession she lived a devoted Christian life. Her Saviour was her comfort and many of her hours were spent in the study of her Bible, and she died fully trusting in Jesus as her saviour.
The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.L. Worley at the residence of Mr. Fred Fisher. The remains were laid to rest in the Lowell cemetery beside her husband.
