Amy Kelsey Brockus Smith
(Mrs. Brockus; Mrs. John Smith)
The following unidentified newspaper article (ca. 1903/4) was found in a scrapbook owned by Betty Burton of Lowell:
Mrs. B.M. Mahler, of South Chicago, and Mrs. W.H. Davis and two sons, of Chicago, and Mrs. H.L. Bowman and daughter, of Chicago, arrived at the home of their mother, Mrs. John Smith, Friday night and on Saturday they with their mother and Mrs. Grouns, another daughter, and her two children, and Mrs. Smith's son Joe Brockus, visited at the home of John Fry and wife and T.V. Rockwell of Hebron Saturday. A reunion was held at Mr. Fry's home and all of Mrs. Smith's five children were together for the first time in eight years. It was a most enjoyable visit.
