COOK, Ind., Feb. 4. -- Joseph Stark, well known farmer of this community, died shortly after 1 a.m. today following a long illness. He was 78 years old and spent most of his life on the farm here and at St. John, where he was born.
In addition to his widow, Susan, surivors include six daughters, Mrs. Edward Feddler and Hilda Stark of Cook, Mrs. Henry Schaefer of Lowell and the Mesdames Francis Bollmen [Vollman?], Olive Trotowsky [Grotowski?] and Christina Kegobre [Kotrba?], all of Chicago; and four sons, George, Joseph and Gregory of Cook, and Edward of Calumet City.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 9 a.m., in the Holy Name Catholic church. Burial will be in the cemetery near the church. The body may be viewed at the residence Sunday afternoon.
