Attendants were Mrs. John Eskridge, matron of honor, and George Stealy, younger brother of the groom. The bride was accompanied to the altar by her father.
Little Miss Jo Ann Petry carried her aunt's train, and little Bobby Petry carried the ring on a white satin pillow. Both are the children of Franklin Petry, Jr., of Hebron.
Accompanied by Mrs. Franklin Petry, Jr., at the piano, Miss Dorothy Worley sang "At Dawning," "Because" and "I Love You Truly." Mrs. Petry also played the wedding march and recessional. Franklin Petry of Hebron, and Wayne Petry of Chicago, brothers of the bride, served as ushers.
A reception was held at the Petry home following the wedding, after which the young couple left for a short honeymoon trip.
The groom has reported at the Great Lakes naval training station for duty, and Mrs. Stealy returns to her duties as instructor in the Center school in Eagle Creek township this week.
