Funeral services will be held at the Christian church in Lowell today (Thursday) at 1:30 p.m. Obituary next week.
He was united in marriage to Nellie Sisson of McArthur on March 11, 1882, to which union was born 5 children, 4 sons who survive him and a daughter who died in infancy.
Shortly after he was married, Mr. Tatman moved to Plum Grove, Indiana, where he resided with his family for 22 years. In 1904 he moved to Chicago and lived there until the summer of the past year at which time he moved back to Lowell.
As the holidays approached, Mr. Tatman began to fail in health and became so bad that he returned to Chicago in the early part of January for medical treatment. His condition was such that it was necessary to perform an operation from which he appeared to be recovering nicely for several days.
On Sunday morning of January 27th, he took a turn for the worse and passed away in the evening of the same day.
He leaves to mourn his death his wife, four sons, Wm. H. of Lowell, Harry A. and George Ronald of Chicago, Ernie P. of Hope, New Mexico, seven grandchildren, his aged mother 92 years old and his step father, two half brothers and 1 half-sister besides a host of other relatives and friends.
