Ths Lowell Tribune article, hand dated Oct. 4, 1934, was found in the Lowell Public Library clipping files (LH--Vital Statistics, vol. 5, page 19):
William Uhter, who made his home with his daughter and George Pauley in
Eagle Creek township, was found dead in his bed about 6 a.m., Tuesday.
He had been in his usual health and on Monday had driven a tractor all
day on the farm. An autopsy was held and the cause of death was found
to have been a blood clot in the heart.
