Mrs. Etha Van Wienan

AGED THAYER LADY PASSED AWAY MONDAY

Funeral services were held yesterday for Mrs. Etha Van Wienan, a resident of Thayer the past 54 years, who passed away at her home Monday at the age of 80 years.

The deceased, who was born in the Netherlands in 1864, and came to this country in 1893, is survived by four sons: Gerritt and Peter DeFries of Thayer, John DeFries and Harry Van Wienan, both of DeMotte; three daughters, Rene DeFries and Mrs. Jenny Van Wienan of Gary, and Mrs. Ann Tate of Thayer; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
