The following unidentified newspaper article (ca. 1903/4) was found in a scrapbook owned by Betty Burton of Lowell:
Fred Wagin and wife, of northwestern Missouri, who visited at the home of Amos Wagin, his brother, of this place, for a week, departed for their home Monday morning.
Another article on the same page of the scrapbook added this information:
Mr. and Mrs. Wagin, after a pleasant visit with their brother Amos and family here, left for their home in Missouri Monday morning. It is the first time in 25 years that the brothers have met.
