The following March 22, 1945, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 6, column 1:
Killed in Action in Germany
Pvt. John A. Wall, 29, of Munster, was killed in action in Germany on Feb. 23, according to an official telegram to his wife last week.
Mrs. Wall is the former Charlotte Lee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Lee, Cedar Lake, and is a graduate of Lowell high school with the class of 1937.
