She was married to F.L. Weakly February 16, 1887.*
She became a member of the Christian church at Ogden, Henry county, Ind., under the preaching of Elder Charles Blackman, at about 15 years of age. She was an active member and worker within the church and Sunday School, and was thoroughly conversant with the scriptures. She was active as a business woman, and was always thoughtful and economical. She managed her business affairs with prudence and care, and rendered valuable assistance in the business of her husband. She was a graduate of the Opthalmic College, of Chicago, and a member of the lodge of Rebecca's with that of her husband. Her life was full of sunshine, and her heart full of love.
The funeral services were conducted by Elder A.M. Hootman, of Union City, Indiana, at the Christian church in this city on Monday, December 27th at 2 p.m. and the remains were interred in the Lowell cemetery.
The funeral was in charge of the daughters of Rebecca of this city.

* NOTES -- Jennie Death Weakly's married name was spelled "Weakley" in this article, but her husband's 1927 obituary spelled it as "Weakly." Also, Frank L. Weakly's obituary lists 1886 as the year he married Jennie Death. Her obituary, however, lists their marriage date as Feb. 16, 1887.
