The following article was found in the Sept. 14, 1872, Lowell Star on
page 5, column 3:
Lew Westerman has threshed at some twenty-five or thirty places in West Creek township and has taken a vote of nearly all the gangs of hands that has been employed, and he says he has not found a Greeley man yet.
