Roy Rose, the bride's uncle, sang, accompanied by Miss Evelyn Ann Bailey. The bride was attended by her cousin, Joan Hoffman, as maid of honor and by Wilma Jean Buhman of Crisman as bridesmaid. Ted Hanson of Hammond was best man and Pfc. Paul Rose of Hammond was usher.
Only relatives and personal friends attended and dinner was served to 50 at the Youchee country club. Reception followed at the Rose residence.
The bride is a graduate of Crown Point high school, attended Northwestern university and graduated from Indiana U. She taught English and dramatics at Lowell high for the past four years, is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority and Tri Kappa sorority.
The new husband attended the University of Texas where he majored in engineering. Lieut. Dunn completed 35 missions as navigator on a B-29 over Japan before the end of the war. He received the distinguished flying cross, air medal with four oak leaf clusters, Asiatic theater ribbon and two battle stars.
The newlyweds left on a wedding trip for San Antonio, Texas, where Lieut. Dunn reports to Kelly Field, October 6.
