The following unidentified newspaper article (ca. 1903/4) was found in a scrapbook owned by Betty Burton of Lowell:
Wm. White Passed Away
W.W. White, aged 73 years, one of Hebron's oldest settlers, died very suddenly Wednesday forenoon, of apoplexy. Mr. White had been enjoying fairly good health during the summer, and just returned from an extended visit in Pennsylvania a few weeks ago. He has but one brother James White, who lives at Knox, Ind., and an adopted daughter who lives in Chicago.
The funeral will be conducted today at ten o'clock by Rev. VanDuyn from the Presbyterian church.
