The following article was found in Lowell Public Library's local history clipping files (LH--Vital Statistics, vol 3, page 13):
Joseph "Bee" Worley, age 79, of Lowell, passed away Mon., Jan. 20, 1992,
at the Methodist Hospital, Southlake Campus, Merrillville. He is
survived by his wife, Nancy Worley; three sons, Joseph (Mary) Worley of
Florida, Harry (Marie) Worley of California, and Jay Worley of Lowell;
five daughters, Janett Nugent of California, JoAnne (Roger) Perry of
California, Rose (Clayton) Surber of Florida, Lori June Worley and Dana
(Kyle) Sharkey, both of Lowell; 20 grandchildren; three great
grandchildren; and two sisters, Irene Ebert and Gladys Gerner, both of
Lowell. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 23 at Sheets Funeral
Home, Lowell, with Pastor Charles Hochmuth officiating. Burial followed
at Orchard Grove Cemetery in Lowell. Joseph Worley was a lifetime
resident of Lowell and a retired housepainter.
NOTE -- Joseph Worley also had a daughter, Mary Louise, who preceeded him in death.
