This photo was taken on Sunday, Aug. 31, 1952, in connection with St. Edwards participation in the Lowell Centennial celebration. The man on the far left is Rev. Edward Boney, pastor of St. Edwards. The fourth man in the row is Rev. John Beckman. The last man in the row is Rev. Hildebrandt, the pastor of the church in Griffith for many years.
Jerry Hensley further identifies the photo: "Monsignor Janson of St. Joseph Church and School in Hammond [is] standing next to Fr. Boney and Rite Rev. Monsignor Mongovin of All Saints Church and School also in Hammond [is] standing in the middle with the cross hanging on his front. I met Fr. Boney, when I was around eleven or twelve, at his parish in Lowell while on vacation at my aunt and uncle's home, Mr. and Mrs Nate Davis."
