This picture was on the front of an advertising postcard. Mr. Arnott's furniture store was located on Clark Street in Lowell. Addressed to Mrs. Henry Carstens and postmarked Nov. 15, 1911, the message read:
Dear Madam:
Yourself and friends are cordially invited to be present at Arnott's Anniversary Sale on Saturday, November 18, 1911. Souvenits presented to the ladies.

Thomas Arnott's furniture store was at 110 North Clark Street in Lowell.
