Wellington A. Clark and Mary C. Hackley Clark

The caption with the photo states: "The pair in the center are Wellington Clark and his wife. He was born in New York State, in 1815; moved to Lake County in 1837. He crossed Chicago when it was still an unpromising group of squatty houses. He is still in business at a ripe age, and the companion of his early age is at his side."
