The house featured in this photo was identified by Town Historian Richard Schmal as one that was next door to his childhood family home. It is now the Century 21 office, one block west of the railroad in Lowell. Mr. Schmal writes:
"That house was next to my father's house on Commercial Avenue two doors west of the
railroad in Lowell. It is now a real estate office. It was the home of Lovisa Surprise Love Jones. She first married William Love, then John Jones; she was the mother of Harold Love, Lowell banker."
This photo comes from the collection of Phyllis Ewer Gibbs.
