THE ABOVE PICTURE is one of the old Orchard Grove school house built in 1899. The school was located south of Route 2, near Route 55, on what is now Grant Street. Used for many years, the property was bought by Ernest Ebert after being abandoned for use as a school and the structure was torn down in 1951. This picture was taken by Mrs. Augusta Norcott.
