Mr. Brownell, who worked as a sales representative for an interior decorating supply company, had always enjoyed excellent health. The Lowell firemen inhalator squad worked frantically to revive him from the fatal heart attack, which seized him in the quiet of his lovely home on West Commercial Ave. as he spent the evening with his wife, the former Virginia Parker, and their two children, Parker, 10, and Barbara, 8.
Born in Lowell May 1, 1907, the son of Ed Brownell, deceased, and Gwyneth Castle Brownell, of Lake Dalecarlia, prominent Lowell family, Castle graduated from Lowell high school in 1925 and in February of 1938 married Miss Virginia Parker of Muskegan, Michigan.
Funeral arrangements will not be completed until Mrs. Brownell's parents arrive from Sarasota, Fla., where they have been vacationing from their home in Muskegan. Friends may call at the Weaver funeral home.
