Local History clipping files at the Lowell Public Library (LH--Vital
Statistics, vol. 5, page 1):
Former Resident Called
Thomas Clowes, of Chicago, passed out of this life Friday, February 27,
1920, at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 2 days. He had been
afflicted with blindness for eight years and with paralysis for three
and one-half years.
He leaves his wife, one daughter, one sister and many friends to mourn
his departure.
He and his family lived here for several years before moving to Chicago
twelve years ago, and he had many friends who will regret to hear of his
death. Burial at Mount Hope cemetery.
