Only recently, Mr. Dickinson has resigned from the Lowell Library Board, a capacity in which he had served for 14 years.

Mr. Dickinson left his estate to his alma mater, Indiana University.
He was a member of the Lowell Methodist Church, Colfax Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and Indian Trail Grange.
His brother, Thomas, passed away six years ago. His survivors include many cousins and friends.
