The single ring ceremony was performed by Rev. W.L. Sherman in the Grace Methodist church in Rockford, on Monday, June 26, at 2 p.m.
The bride wore a street-length dress of navy blue with a large white frilly collar and chose accessories of navy and white. Her corsage was of carnations and tea roses. The bride's mother also wore navy blue and had a corsage of white carnations.
The bride is a niece of Mrs. Arthur Edmondson and during her many visits in the Edmondson home has made many friends in Lowell.
The groom, before his enlistment in the U.S. army, made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Keith Dinwiddie and is a graduate of Lowell high school. The bride is a graduate of Rockford high school.
Following a honeymoon spent here with the bride's aunt and family, and the groom's sister, Mrs. Glen McKay, and brother, Nolan Fish and families, the groom will return to his station at Ft. Sill, Okla., and the bride to Rockford, where she is employed.
