Note: The names Harvey Windbigler, Glenn Surprise, Leslie Peterson, and Milo Loyd appear in a Lowell Tribune article on Oct. 24, 1918, as having been from the Three Creeks and Hanover Townships and having served their country during World War I. Leslie Peterson was listed as having served in the Marines; Harvey Windbigler, in the Field Artillery; and Milo Loyd and Glenn Surprise, in the Infantry Ordnance Dept, Engineer Corp., etc.
In the Dec. 27, 1917, issue of The Lowell Tribune (page 6, column 6), Milo Loyd is listed as serving in the Army.
