MRS. OVID MILLER, 42, DIES IN HAMMOND
Mrs. Ovid (Louise) Miller, 42, of Lowell, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Horsley, in Hammond. She had been ill for a long time. Survivors include her husband and son, Ovid Jr., of Lowell, and two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Horsley and Mrs. Barbara Kroslack; four grandchildren; her father, George Slade; two brothers, Aulderson and George Slade, and one sister, Catherine Liston, all of Hammond.
The Millers came to the Lowell community from Hammond last July, when they purchased the Oak Grove Service Station in West Creek. The couple were planning to mark their 26th wedding anniversary on Friday, March 11.
Memorial services are being held today at 2 p.m. in the Burns Funeral Home in Hammond, where burial will be made in the Elmwood cemetery.
