NATUREFEST  VENDOR  INFORMATION

This event is a fundraiser sponsored by the Friends of the Library — an organization created to support & enhance the Lowell, Schneider & Shelby libraries. With assistance from the Friends many of the programs available to kids, teens, adults & seniors are offered free of charge.  Thank you for participating in NatureFest & thus helping to provide free programming to the public!

EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC: Saturday,  Sept. 13th,  10 AM – 3 PM

EVENT SET-UP: 2-4 PM Sept. 12th  or  8:30-10 AM Sept. 13th

EVENT TAKE-DOWN:  3 – 4 PM Sept. 13th

Vendors providing information, services or items related to nature, conservation, pollinators or gardening are welcome to participate in this event.  In addition to selling items, vendors are encouraged to raffle off an item and/or provide freebies for their booth, but it is not required.  No food or food product sales at the event are permitted unless by a licensed food truck vendor.

Spaces are provided on a first come first serve basis.  Tables are about  6’L x 2’W in size & 2 chairs are provided.  Please bring an extension cord if you need electricity.  Neither the library nor Friends are responsible for lost or stolen items.

The event will be held indoors, but vendors are allowed to set up their own booth outdoors upon request, space permitting.  Moving indoors if the weather is poor may be possible, but is not guaranteed as space is limited.  All vendors are asked to carpool & park farther away after setting up to allow as much space as possible for the public.

A completed application & $20 non-refundable donation is necessary to take part.  You can fill out your NatureFest application online.  Applications are also available at the library.  No reservations will be taken without payment.  You may drop off or mail your payment to:

All vendors are asked to help advertise the event using the flyer provided & by sharing the event from the Library’s Facebook page.  The more publicity generated beforehand, the greater attendance the day of the event.  Take a look at (& Like!) the Lowell Public Library Facebook page and search “NatureFest” if you’d like to see pictures of last year’s event.  If you have any questions, call Bethany at 219-696-7704 for further information.
