George Anthony Rietman

Promoted to Sergeant

George Anthony Rietman, presently serving with Co. "C" 2/12 25th Infantry Division in and around Chu Chi, South Vietnam, has been promoted to Sergeant by the United States Army as of November, 1968.

He is the husband of Nancy Rietman, residing in Hammond; and the son of Ralph and Margaret Rietman, Sr., of Cedar Lake.

George entered the Army on November 9, 1967, having received training at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., and Ft. Polk, La. He will return from Vietnam in April, 1969.
