"Reno" was born in Kankakee, Ill., in 1886 and came to this vicinity in 1906. He was widely known, having been a school bus operator for a number of years. He also was in the trucking business and for many years he has owned Rouse's Restaurant at Schneider. He was a popular member of the Kankakee Valley Saddle Club and held membership in the Gary Masonic Lodge 677 FAM.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis and a brother, Harry Rouse of Schneider.
Masonic Rites will be conducted at 8 o'clock Thursday evening in the Eskridge Funeral Home under the auspices of the Gary Masons. Rev. E. L. Worley will officiate at memorial services in the Eskridge Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday, March 9. Interment will be in the Lowell Cemetery.
