Surprise Party
Charles Sherard, Jr., was the victim of a surprise party by his classmates in the W.W. class in the M.E. Sunday school Thursday evening. Charles is soon to move to Crown Point with his parents and the boys thought they would give him a surprise party before he left. The surprise was complete. When Charles came to the door in answer to the bell he found his self-invited guests to greet him. He soon recovered his surprise and proceeded to entertain his guests in a royal manner. Games were played during the evening, and elegant refreshments were served. At a late hour the boys went home feeling they had had a fine time and wishing Charles happiness in his new home.
