The bride is a very successful teacher of White county, and for the past few years has taught in the Monticello schools. She is a very charming young woman, with a personality that has won her many friends.
The bridegroom was in the service during the late war and most of that time was at Lafayette where he was an instructor in the mechanical department of Purdue University.
He has been a member of the Richey, Pierson and Smith hardware store for the past year, previous to that time having been connected with the J.F. Horner Auto Company, and the Willard Battery Company.
The happy couple left at 6:09 for Chicago and expect to pass their honeymoon with a trip on Lake Michigan.
They will be at home to their friends after July 1st, at their home they recently purchased on North Dewey street. -- Monticello (Ind.) Evening Journal.
