This unidentified, undated newspaper article was found in a scrapbook owned by Town Historian Richard Schmal:
While Ralph Spry was in town Saturday night his Dodge coupe was taken from where he had left it by someone. Search was made for it but it was not found until Sunday afternoon. Albert and Roger Surprise were on their way out east over the detour in the east part of town and saw a Dodge coupe standing at the side of the road. They took the license number and on calling the Spry home found that it was the car. It looks very much like local talent who wanted to take a joy ride.
