He was united in marriage with Lulu Smith, November 12, 1893. To this union was born Oral Blanche. He was again married to Jennie M. England, March 27, 1915, who survives him.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, one daughter, Oral Blanche, two stepchildren, Mrs. C.E. Webb, of Hillsdale, Mich., James England, of Oklahoma; his step-mother, Mrs. M.L. Wood, three brothers, Charles, Lewis and Alva, of Lowell; two sisters, Mrs. T.H. Grubb, Mrs. H.B. Aller, of Chicago; one step-sister, Ella Anderson, of Lowell. His boyhood days and early part of his life was spent in Lowell, where he was favorably known and esteemed by all who knew him.
Funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alva Wood, Sunday, and there was a large attendance of his old friends. Rev. C.A. Brown preached the funeral sermon. Interment was made in the Lowell cemetery in charge of Undertaker Weaver.
