Miss Lena Kimmet's Millinery

The two-story brick corner building occupied by Miss Lena Kimmet's millinery store is one of Lowell's landmarks. The building was erected in 1891. It has been occupied by the Wiggins Bank, the State Bank and Dr. J.E. Davis.

The artist shows the building as it now looks across the street. It is owned by Mr. John A. Kimmet, father of the present occupant, in which she displays her extensive stock in all modern and best styles of ladies' hats.

Miss Kimmet has taken a thorough course in her trade in the trade school in Chicago. Her courtesy to customers has alreacy drawn to her apartment a long list of valuable partonage, which her knowlege in the most approved and correct forms will steadily increase.
