The body will be brought here Monday night and the funeral services will be under Masonic auspices.
Mr. Brannon has been ill for the last two years and in an effort to regain his health went to Rochester. His wife was at his bedside when he passed away.
He was born at Lowell, Ind., on the Amos Brannon farm, January 22, 1864. March 3, 1884, he married Bertha Hayden, and the couple and their children came to Billings in 1903, when they settled on the Enoch's ranch, seven miles west of here. Brannon engaged in farming until 1920, when he and the family moved to town, taking up residence at the present address. During the past six years he has been active in the live stock business.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children, Mrs. Clarence Wise, James and Robert, of Billings, Hawkins and Mrs. L.M. Sorenson, of Turlock, California, and Clayton Brannon, of Helena.
He is also survived by three sisters and two brothers, Milo Brannon and Mrs. Ida Hayden, of Lowell, Ind., Mrs. Meda Hayden, of Topeka, Ind., Mrs. Hiram Haskins, of 125 Avenue B, and L.A. Brannon, of Culver City, California. -- Billings Montana, Gazette, July 12.
