He was united in marriage to Irene Klawitter of Hankinson, North Dakota on October 3, 1942. The Fraziers were blessed with two children and 54 years of married life. Joe was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Coleman and served as the church custodian for 25 years. He was a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Naval Reserves during World War 2, serving his country on the LST 1108 in the Pacific. Residing much of his life around Pound, Wisconsin, Joe provided custodial services for the Coleman School District for many years. He was an avid gardener. . . .
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Irene in 1996; four brothers: Rex, Dale, J. Casey and A. Ross Frazier; and one half-brother, Victor Roberts.

The funeral will be on Friday, July 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Coleman, the reverend Gregory Stahlecker officiating. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the funeral at the church. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church. After the funeral service, the remains will be laid to rest at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, there to await the resurrection of the Last Day.
