Mr. and Mrs. Reed Giese* spent a few days last week with her grandmother, Mrs. Lillian Brownell. Mr. Giese, a technician in the medical corps, is stationed at Memphis, Tenn., while his wife is now staying with her parents, Major and Mrs. Ray Casey, in Pampas, Texas.
NOTE: Various news articles spell the last name differently: Geise, Giese, Geisen.
The following July 26, 1945, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 5:
Cpl. and Mrs. Reed Geise and daughter, Susan Starr of Gary, were here Tuesday visiting their grandmother, Mrs. Lillian Brownell.
