Mrs. Joseph Hepp, who has been an invalid for some time, passed away at her home in the north part of town at 8:30 Tuesday morning. She suffered a stroke of paralysis Monday morning from which she did not rally. Funeral services will be held at St. Edward Catholic church today at 10 a.m.

Elizabeth (Poirot) Hepp, daughter of John and Catharine Poirot, was born on a farm north of Lowell, December 16, 1864, and passed away at her home in Lowell very suddenly on February 23, 1864, at the age of 69 years, 2 months and 4 days, the cause of death being a stroke of paralysis.

In October 1883 she was united in marriage to Joseph Hepp, who preceded her in death several years ago. To this union were born four sons and four daughters.

Mrs. Hepp was a woman who was well and favorably known in the community in which she spent her entire life, and a large circle of friends, outside of the immediate family, mourn her passing.

She is survived by four sons, William, John, Gard and Fred, and three daughters, Mrs. Catharine Loyd, Mrs. Lucile Gund and Mrs. Lena Jensen. One daughter died in infancy. She is also survived by one brother, Peter Poirot, and one sister, Mrs. Lena Bixenmann.

Funeral services were held at St. Edward Catholic church, Thursday, February 22nd, Rev. A.J. Kroeger, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment was made in the Catholic church cemetery in charge of Weaver & Son.
