Lorenze - Davis
Paul Lorenze and Miss Ruby Davis were united in marriage at the home of the groom's parents in Oak Glen, Ill., Saturday, January 15, 1921. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lorenze, of Oak Glen, and the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Davis, of Lowell, and is a most estimable young lady. The ceremony was a private affair. The bride was dressed in white satin and carried a bouquet of lilies and roses. The bridesmaid wore a dress of silk messalin. After the ceremony an elegant supper was served and at nine p.m. several of the groom's friends from the Hammond Dairy came and brought an orchestra and the evening was very pleasantly spent with music and singing. At a late hour the guests departed, wishing the bride and groom a long life of happiness and prosperity. The many friends of the bride in Lowell extend congratulations and best wishes. The newly married couple will make their home in Hammond.
