To Mr. and Mrs. Ben Davis Sunday, September 4, twin boys, one of which died.
To Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Carlin Tuesday, September 6, 1904, a boy. Dr. Davis attending physician in each case.
A native of Greenfield, Ind., she moved to Hammond 20 years ago from Lowell. Ben and Emma started housekeeping in Lowell after their marriage 66 years ago. They were residents here for 46 years.
Surviving are two sons, Nate of Hammond and Foreman of Calumet City, three daughters, Mrs. Joe Linsenman and Mrs. Russell Hensley of Hammond; and Mrs. Paul Lorenz of Calumet City; 27 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. A son Boyd died last September.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran church, on Sibley Street in Calumet City, with the Rev. W.G. Seeliger officiating. Burial will be in Lowell cemetery.
