John Lynch (1836-1905)

The Lowell Star, Aug. 16, 1872, page 5, column 3, had a list of soldiers who were supporters of Grant in that election. Among them was John Lynch of the 156th Ind. Inf. An Internet database of Civil War veterans from Illinois also lists a John Lynch as being in the 156th Illinois Infantry. His residence was listed as being in Washington at that time.
