The home of Mr. and Mrs. C.P. Pixley was the scene of a very pretty wedding last Saturday when William H. Meyer, son of Mrs. H.W. Meyer, led to the alter Miss Mabel Pixley, their eldest daughter. The ceremony was performed at high noon by Rev; C.A. Brown, pastor of the Lowell M.E. church. He used the ring ceremony. The bride wore a gown of white charmous and net and carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums. Her, sister, Mildred, was the bridesmaid and wore a gown of pink satin and carried pink roses. Neil Bahr was the best man. Sidney Lee, of Chicago, was ring bearer and Wayne Sharpe, Emma Sharp, Helen Taylor and Henry Lee were flower bearers. The wedding march was played by Miss Beers and she also sang "O Promise Me." After the ceremony a fine wedding dinner was served at which there were fifty seven guests. The bride and groom received many valuable presents. The guests were relatives and friends from Lowell, Crown Point, Lafayette and Chicago. The young couple left for a trip to Detroit, Mich. On returning they will occupy the Pixley homestead in West Creek Township. The newly married couples are among our most highly esteemed young people and we join their large circle of friends in extending congratulations and best wishes.
