Albert Lafayette Nichols (1842-1862)

The "Pioneer History" column in the May 25, 1983, issue of the Lowell Tribune mentions that Albert Layfayette Nichols of the 73rd Indiana Volunteer Infantry died in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1862, the same year as he enlisted during the Civil War.
