After the games a dessert luncheon was served by the hostess, and later the bride-to-be opened her attractive gifts which were placed on a large table with a centerpiece of a bride and groom before a miniature white pillow on which a small wedding ring was placed. Small candelabrae were placed on each side of the pillow and a large white wedding bell extended overhead, from which pink and blue ribbons were tied to each gift. At the end of the table, garden flowers were placed in a large dish with pink tapers on each side.
At a late hour the guests departed, wishing Miss Helen much happiness.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schultz and the prospective groom is Edgar Rehborg, son of Mrs. Clara Rehborg of Lowell. The young couple will be married Sunday evening, Oct. 15, 1944, at the Lowell Trinity Lutheran church.
