John Steuer, Lake Contractor, Dies

John Steuer, 69, retired Cedar lake contractor, died at his home on the Lowell-Cedar Lake road this morning, Jan. 19. He had been suffering from a heart condition for several years.

His wife passed away seven years ago.

Survivors include six sons, Milford, Irvin and Carl of Cedar Lake, Arnold of Lake Dalecarlia, Richard of Crown Point, and Robert of Hammond. Also, two daughters, Mrs. Rayburn Pigg of Crown Point, and Mrs. John Burch of Tucson, Arizona, besides a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements have not been made, but friends may call the Eller Funeral home in Cedar Lake.
