The Lowell Star, Aug. 17, 1872, page 5, column 3 had a list of soldiers who were supporters of Grant in that election. Among them was Anson C. Warner of the 151st Ind. This may or may not have been the same person as the A.C. Warner on the Three Creeks monument. Often men served in more than one unit during different times in the war.
