Berg Children, 1903

The children in this photograph are Anna, Caroline, William and Johanna Berg, children of Bernard and Caroline Berg.

This photo comes from the collection of Paul Eric Berg, grandson of William Berg, the little boy in the picture. Paul Berg writes, "I am sending you a photo of my grandfather William Berg and his sisters in 1903 from Stuttgart, Arkansas. My great-great grandfather was Ludwig (Louis) Berg who was buried in Lowell, Indiana, in 1916 at the Catholic cemetery."

The 1922 obituary of Louis Berg's wife Helena mentioned a son, Bernard Berg, who lived in Stutgart, Arkansas. This would have been the children's father.
